The culmination of EIT Manufacturing\u2019s<\/a> signature pan-European competition for startups, BoostUp! 2022, was celebrated in Athens, Greece, on 7 October!<\/span><\/p>\n

The event was celebrated in the Stavros Niarchos Foundation Cultural Center<\/p>\n<\/div>

The competition, launched on 13 June 2022, will conclude in its\u00a0Grand Final<\/strong>, a half day event where the\u00a020 selected finalists<\/strong> in the domains of manufacturing competed with their breakthrough ideas for a total amount of 170,000 EUR<\/strong>, in addition to packages of Business Creation support services provided by EIT Manufacturing.<\/p>\n<\/div>

All this will happen in front of the eyes of an\u00a0expert jury<\/strong> that will be assessing the usefulness of startups\u2019 solutions. In this picture I appear with the European West collegues; Gala Maturana<\/a>, Xabier Garciandia<\/a>, Leire Marinas<\/a>, Almudena Trigo<\/a> and Christopher Burleigh<\/a>.<\/p>\n<\/div>

These solutions derive from the cooperation with a large manufacturing corporation, either by means of a pilot or a proof-of-concept (PoC) project demonstrating the validity of their technology. The winners in the picture above were:<\/p>\n

    The event will also be the opportunity for the startups and investors to network during the informal evening gathering that will be the official closure of this year\u2019s BoostUp! Competition, which specifically targets startups with solutions that fall within one of EIT Manufacturing\u2019s\u00a0four flagships<\/strong>, which aim to support sustainable, circular, and digital manufacturing solutions:<\/p>\n
